Newport, RI: A perfect getaway for all seasons I was contemplating this article for a while, but taken that I left for Germany and Argentina after I came back from a weekend retreat in Newport, Rhode Island, I've delayed the review until now. As I've said in the article, Newport is a perfect getaway for all seasons - it's great during summer as you can take advantage of many beaches the town and surrounding area offers, but it's also great during the late fall, as the town transforms into the magic of the leaves changing into very many colors - from green and yellow to red, violet and orange. Now that I've talked about my nail polish winter essentials, I'm about to talk about lips... 

I usually don't like to give it away, but today I thought - what the hell, why not? It's not like we are all going to end up in one room wearing the same nail polish anyway, right? Oh, are we?

Last year I called my New Year blog - my new year resolutions, but aren't we a bit tired of making the resolutions that we don't seem to be able to keep? So, this year, instead of talking about how I'd lithe to be better, more productive, more attentive to my family matters, healthier, active, bla bla bla, I'd like to talk about how lucky some of us are who have someone special and dear to have celebrated the coming of the new year, when some people out there - don't... I'm lucky and I know it but it wasn't always the same.
