The Black Is Back, And So Is...The White

Chances are your closet is well furnished with plenty of black items are pretty good, especially if you live in New York City, where the preferred clothing color is still black, despite all the color fashion trends and influences available at the tips of the New Yorkers' finger nails.

However, when it comes to the white color, chances that you wear a lot of white are pretty slim, while chances that you are loving the combination of black and white in your look are pretty good, especially, with those, who love shopping at White House/Black Market. White color has never been as popular as the black, nevertheless, you might want to reconsider your views and...tastes.
The classic black will never go out of style as long as the LBD (aka Little Black Dress) is still the answer to all our emergent wardrobe questions, whether we need to travel on business or not – LBD always saves the day.

Black is the wardrobe gift that keeps on giving! Unlike the solo whites…but what about a black/white combination? Is it happening? What you think of it? Are you going to consider wearing it if…your favorite fashion designer said it’s the trendiest style to do? I bet, you would…

That’s where most of the designers’ newest fashion trend of black and white comes into play. And it’s not hard to figure it out, just take a walk along the Madison Ave’s fashion boutiques from Ralph Lauren to La Perla – it’s like a parade of black and whites!

The black and white answer from Donna Karan.
The black and white are back and they are here to stay for…ever, because they’ve never gone away in the first place. Just count how many black items you have in your wardrobe.

Of course, if you’re in the mood to get really ‘colorful’, you can definitely do it. No doubt, it’s still in the ‘stars’ for us – the brights, the colors, the prints and the patterns…The colors are still gracing the runaways of Milan, Paris, New York, Moscow and Tokyo. [Check out Spring 2013...]

But then, there's always Valentino Fall/Winter 2013...an array of black and white for women and men. So, do we make an accent on shopping for white/black or should we shop for colors for this Winter/Spring 2013? I'd say....do both, to be on a safer side of fashion.

The black and whites are still the safest colors, no matter if you are a blond or brunette, it looks good pretty much on anyone. So, when in doubt this season, pull out your blacks and whites and hit the town, whether for business and/or casual outing.
