So, I'm caught up in the moment today thinking about how awesomely great, just absolutely perfect Meryl Streep was in "Devil Wears Prada" movie. 

Why, WHY do they have to be so expensive! I'm lusting after these absolutely fabulous and awesome in so many ways -  Chanel Espadrilles . My favorite colors are white/black, black, and beige.  Chanel never seems to cease to amaze me...

When was the last time you've been to a large international art expo and/or art fair? Last Spring alone five international art shows took place in New York City, and I've gone to all of them - the indulgence of which not only did very good to me, but I've discovered many new emerging and modern artists, whose work was amazingly impressive and unique, and so thought the other visitors - btw ...

I've visited many events organized by the Museum at FIT and I've always found them fabulous (like the one about Daphne  Guinness  and/or the Shoe Obsession one)   as much as educational like The Designers & Books Fair 2012 and/or Desire Unlimited: The Cinema of Pedro Almodóvar ) You just can't go wrong with any of their exhibitions. Going back to fulfilling my promise to tell you about some of the great finds I come about in the city - the new places that not only I discover, but that I actually put on my  favorite list  of the places to revisit again and... again . One of such is the Republic - the noodles restaurant on Union Square.

Every year we're getting more and more choices to choose from, both - from the high fashion designers like Stella McCartney, Donna Karan, Alexander Wang and L.A.M.B., but also from the lower-priced shoe brand chains like Banana Republic, J. Crew , Zara and Nine West.  Despite the abundance of the choices, there are just a few of the brands that we really, really love...
