Trend alert! While the colors will still prevail this season, be prepared to go monochrome! They say that once you start wearing color, it's rather difficult to go back to the whites and blacks. However, the white and black colors - and the combination of the two - have gotten quite an exposure on the runaways around the world this season. And it doesn't only involve the clothing - you will also see it in accessories, shoes, and nail polish.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!  Every year I go out during St. Patrick's Day to see the 'green' creations that people wear on this day, and every year I wonder if they are either Irish or are of an Irish descend, or just those who find any kind of a reason to be joyful and have a reason to get together with friends and do some partying. Personally, I've never been a huge fan of the St. Patrick's Day celebrations because I'm far from being 'Irish' and this holiday does not really resembles  with anything of my life, upbringing, and/or cultural heritage. It took me even a while to get used to the Halloween and Thanksgiving, which I now fully embrace, but it wasn't like that for a while. Despite the fact that it was snow-storming today in New York City, and the temperature was far from making it a warm Spring pleasant weekend day, nevertheless, many young people were roaming the streets of the city, wearing all sorts of 'green'.  Re

One of the best things about taking classes at the School of Visual Arts is to see the many styles of the students from around the world. My favorites are the students from Japan.  There's just some thing about their style. I've been always a big fan of the Japanese street fashion. They have a natural sense of how to mix and match designers and low budget brands and always come up with a very creative way to wear both - the clothes and shoes and the accessories. And they are definitely not afraid of the color!

I like what's been happening at the J. Crew for the past few years. I'm glad that they recognized the need to sexy-up their assortment. While a few years ago I wouldn't even stop by their stores, now I always stop by...

It's official, the 'It-Girls' have taken up a whole new role.

Just accept it - the denim look will never ever go away . Your parents wore it, you wear it, your kids will wear it and your grandchildren will wear it too - [hence, never throw the denims out, because, guess what? the denim fashion is like a life circle, it goes around and it always comes around.] Jeans/denim is so much a part of our lives that there's no way we'd ever give it up.
