Shoes, Sample Sales And Everything Relative
One of my favorite trends in accessories this season is the bold footwear, and thanks to a very easy access to the best of it - living in New York City and all - through various exclusive fashion events, shopping sites, sample sales and fashion newsletters like Gilt.com, ladies of New York get to have some of fashion’s most daring designers' shoes that marry cutting-edge and wearable design.
Shopping for shoes is for me like a therapy - a very expensive therapy, although. But then I figured, not only this is what makes me feel good, but it also seems to make feel good the other people. I thought that I'd rather buy a beautiful pair of shoes for $125-200 than pay the same amount of money to a shrink as many people do, who think that shrinks make them feel better. In reality, it might not be the case at all, but whatever works for each and one of you out there - is what you've got to choose yourself.
So, to make my summer even more joyful, I've been checking out Gilt.com, trying not to succumb to every designer deal they send my way on a daily basis. I opted to be wiser, if that could even be applied to 'shoes'. Yes, I do love my shoes, and I do pick them wisely...
These are just a few pairs of my shoes that I'm loving this season... (and scroll down for the Sample Sales this week!)
