CURIOUSER NEW YORK

  Toronto is one great city, and by now, most of my Facebook and Twitter friends know it as I've disregarded the fact that I had no international plan for my data usage in Canada and kept updating my status with the photos of things I was seeing, eating, drinking and visiting in Toronto last weekend. It wasn't my first visit to Canada. 

This photo I took the other day on the NYC subway reminds me that - the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week is coming soon!

I've been seriously obsessing over these 'booties' since the first sight of them. It takes a true sporty slash fashionista genius to design something that looks like sneakers slash running shoes slash high fashion boots.

Not in a million years I would have considered buying myself anything in pink color, not even lingerie. 

I've been always a big, big, huge fan of Stella McCartney - from the very beginning of her fashion career, from her baby steps in the fashion industry.  I remember how many people were skeptical about 'a daughter of the famous Beatle entering the fashion industry' - just as another 'kid from a famous family who has nothing better to do but to be in a fashion designer' . Well, she's proven them all wrong, hasn't she?

I think I was the last one to learn - regretfully and sadly - about the death of this iconic woman.

  Just a few more hours, just a few more hours, and I'm going to be on my way to the gorgeous Montauk. I know, it's not Corsica or Amalfi, but with the little we have on the East Coast, we truly take advantage of the beach and resort areas we have closer to the city. So, I'll be blogging. Food? Yes! [Have I've mentioned that I'm a seafood fanatic?

I've never been to Montauk. I've been to quite a few things around the area, but not to Montauk, so you can imagine the excitement! I've been browsing through Montauk's destination guide for days. I had no idea there are so many things to see and do. However, I'm planning to spend a whole lot of time on the beach...

I'm absolutely in love with my Zara bright transparents. These sandals are the ultimate answer to 'gray' days. In other words, every time I wear it, it puts me in a very good - bright mood. They add so much life to any outfit because of its bright color and design. They especially go well with the beige - [found out by trial and error] - and bright toe nail polish...

I don't know if it's the fact that there are just too many shoemakers in the world, or the fact that I just don't do enough of research to learn about the new ones, or, perhaps, it's the fact that - very little we hear about the international designers, who make shoes and who do not live in America. Especially, when it comes to someone who is not yet well-known to the fashion world, like Camilla Skovgaard , whose last name first told me that she must have been either: a) from Sweden or, b) related to the True Blood's actor Alexander Skarsgård. Skovgaard, actually, ended up to be from Denmark . I knew it! I knew it was one of those Scandinavia countries: Denmark, Norway, Sweden... She even looks as cool as her shoes! When I grow up, I want to look just like her - she looks like a very cool, fun and edgy person to be around... Either way, she is not from USA. She is European.
