Your Beloved Old Sweater Doesn't Have To Go

The layering is very much 'in' this fall and winter! Bulk it up, ladies...
Every one of us has that one favorite sweater that we just can't seem to get rid of. It might be old and stretched out and with a few holes here and there - but it's still the only sweater we seem to be wanting to wear. We can't even imagine not having it in our wardrobe.

And even, when we want to look very stylish, we always find something to go with our old sweater.

Well, don't get rid of it. As a matter of fact - wear it more and expect some people to ask you, where you got this stylish sweater…
What's 'IN' right now are the knits that look like they've been stretched out in the back, with longer backs and shorter fronts, as well as sweaters that have holes in all kinds of weird locations.

Zara knitwear: a new look to look old and...uneven
Just last weekend, I came across a very cool dark gray sweater at Urban Outfitters that was slashed all over…

Or take Zara, for example, their Fall knitwear collection features a bunch of sweaters that look very 'stretched out', even - old, as your old beloved sweaters…

You can either put some patches on the elbows of your sweater, and that would only make it even more stylish…

A sweater from my new Swedish favorite: Hunky Dory...so simple, but yet so stylish
And, if you grew up in the Eastern Europe and/or Russia, finally you don't have to excuse yourself from all the layering you did back in the days during the cold times. The last thing that look was considered to be as fashionable. But now - now it is fashionable! As a matter of fact, the more you put on yourself - [minding that you still look thin enough...] - the better. The 'bulking up' is so in, so, layer up this fall and winter, and don't forget to tweet a photo to your friends back home in Europe, saying that the 'cabbage' look is very 'in' right now. Beat it, dear ladies...

Stay warm and...chunky, that's all I'm saying...
