Couture Fashion Week New York: Romero Bryan (UK)

Yes, I do - do like British designers. I'm a bit subjective towards them. I think whoever came from UK - be it Kate Winslet, Agatha Christie, Anthony Hopkins, Charles Dickens, Alexander McQueen or John Lennon - they've rocked (and some still do) our world. That's one of the reasons I was looking forward to seeing Romero Bryan's collection.

This innovative London-based designer Romero Bryan made his first appearance at Couture Fashion Week in New York City this year, even though in his native United Kingdom, he's a rather known and popular designer.

Bryan's designs have been worn by ‘A-List’ celebrities across the globe including Cameron Diaz, Elizabeth Jagger, Kelly Rowland, Destiny's Child and Usher, to name a few. Romero Bryan’s garments have been purchased by the likes of Victoria Beckham, Kate Moss and Katy Perry. His designs first caught the media’s attention in 2001, when UK singer Samantha Mumba attended the Brit Awards in a Romero Bryan dress with a plunging neckline.

It is widely acknowledged that designers from the UK produce some of the world’s most cutting-edge fashion; one of them being Romero Bryan.

Romero Bryan’s talent and innovation have been widely recognized by members of the international fashion press and fashionistas. From a young age London-born Romero Bryan aspired to become a world-renowned fashion designer and he began to hone his skills for design and creation at just thirteen, and see how he's grown...

(And the designer himself - I'm loving even his personal style. Very...ˈkæʒuəl?)
