I love, love, love my hair salon in NYC. It's not a big name spa or anything. It's a small salon - Hayden Kings - hidden on the first floor of a Flatiron district on the 17th Street between the Fifth Avenue and Avenue of America's, but getting a haircut from the owner of the salon who does haircuts/hairstyles himself - does not often happens in NYC. Here Hayden is giving me a lesson on a blow-dry. Another great thing I love about them is that they never ever push any products on you even though they do represent one of he best brands on the market right now - Living Proof .

Day Two of the America's Cup 2016 was all that expected and more. Canceling the race yesterday, May 7, due to the lack of proper wind - (see the video from Day 1  here ), put the race at double stake for the next day. As a result, today, May 8th, 2016 - there were three races between the six teams that took part in the America's Cup 2016 in New York City: Oracle Team USA, Soft Bank Team Japan, Groupama Team France, Emirates Team New Zealand,  Land Rover Bar (UK) and  Team Artemis (Sweden). Today the wind (and the sun) was just about right. Watch the video to find out the winner of the America's Cup! See you in Bahamas next year?!

This year The America's Cup 2016 is taking place in New York City on Hudson and the American fans of this infamous sailing race couldn't be happier to see it in their home town this weekend. However, after days of preparations and excitement built up leading up to the race, the first day hasn't gone as planned. After two hours six teams cruised around the river, the race has been cancelled due to the lack of proper wind conditions.

The American Cup 2016 preparations are taking over the downtown of Manhattan right now! This weekend, the famous sailing race is coming to Hudson River and will take in Battery Park City May 7-8th. Don’t miss it. I was there yesterday to witness all the preparations and the excitement was already in the air! People were stopping by to take pictures and videos. You’ll see one french group that got especially excited about seeing one particular yacht on a billboard picture and wanted to take picture of it (I’m assuming it was a yacht of some French sailing team...)  Anyway, mark your calendars and I’ll see you there!
