When I was in Stockholm, I've noticed a certain trend or, rather - a style - in the way Swedish men were dressing.  While in other cities, like Paris, London and New York, you can see men wearing flamboyant and/or patterned/bright clothes, in Stockholm that was not the case at all. 

  The SoFo, or Sodermalm district of Stockholm is like SoHo district of NYC: very young, very hip, very...diverse. The many cute, artistic cafes make it very easy to do some people shopping and street fashion photography shooting. This is exactly what I did at the String coffee shop...and check out Pelikan restaurant. Some more of Soderlmalm's hipsters... One of my favorite shops in Sodermalm is Tjallamalla .

I found the street fashion of Toronto very laid-back and very simple. There isn't much of the 'global fashion influence' that can be seen in a personal style of a Toronto resident, however, once in a while - [when you spent as much walking and visiting various cafes and shops in the city] - you can meet a local, whose style is a bit more diverse than the ones of the others...

Well, it's not the rules of NY subway , it's the lack of it - or, rather, the freedom of the fashion on subway. There's no, really, rules on how one should dress on public transportation in NYC. The other day, for example, I saw a 6'2" tall drag queen getting out of the bus on 23rd Street and 5th Ave. And on a day like "No Pants Day" , you might see hundreds of people riding subway with, literally, no pants - including men and women.  I see more and more young men do this hairstyle...What is this, are the "Crazy" and "West Side Story" days back?

  Long before I've even ever visited Wall Street , I've pictured it - [ based on many 'corporate' American movies ] - such as that the women and men are all dressed sharp in suits, walking up and down the Wall Street, trading our money, managing our funds, betting at the New York Exchange... 

I'm back! For what seemed like an eternity for my readers - [ shame on me, I haven't written my blog for more than two weeks! Ahh... ] - it felt like one day for me. How many of you are not loving the summer time? I love summers! I worship summers! That's been my excuse for not being too much on the computer, but rather - being out and about enjoying the weather, sights and taking trips. [ I'd be posting photos of two of the trips I've taken in the last three weeks - to Cape Cod, finally a dream came true, the place I wanted to visit for a while, and photos from the camping trip I've taken to Echo Rock Festival... ] All in all, New York City is finally getting to enjoy the summer with some - [ of course ] - humidity and looots of the outdoor activities. In particularly - and personally - I'm looking forward to enjoying the summer nights out in the parks around the city watching the movies ( HBO Bryant Park Summer Film Festival and Movies ...

Sometimes it's the general public at a fashion show that has most interesting looks - not even the show's models... At Irina Shabayeva's Fall 2012 Collection fashion show I really liked the men's styles.These men pulled off a very urban "New York" fashion style very well, very easy. Cargo pants, army boots, clean cut bright color jacket and a fedora...and a scarf

David Beckham has arrived... That is - Beckham's new underwear collection has arrived in H&M stores across the globe, and I happened to stumble over it, while shopping for the store's latest hot items - stretching leather pants and long wool jacket with leather sleeves - [I'm obsessed with them now...] This David Beckham-H&M collaboration has been in the works for a while, and the fans of Beckham's 'forms' couldn't wait to see what he, personally, would come up with aside from his previous collaborations with Giorgio Armani that absolutely wow-ed the females around the world. And I must tell you - he did not disappoint!

Yes, these men mean some serious business. Spotting on the street of New York, these men had their own styles to complement a working day...

Hunter boots. A driver mens cap. A leather short coat. An over-sized scarf... and - a cigar. Can you be more classy than that?   Yes, you can!

A casually chick couple - weekends is a great time for a couple to share a fab desert in a fab location. Soho/NYC Especially very good time to spot New Yorkers casually, but stylishly dressed is - on weekends. Even on weekends, New Yorkers don't let the the weekend vibe get them out of the stylish mood. 

There is one man - [well, there are a few men, of course, in my life, whose advice I took seriously; like my dad's, for example...] - whose fashionable opinion I take very serious...He is a world totter, he's been everywhere, seen it all, and find the stylish 'gems' that he swears by...His name is Scott Schuman , the one who's usually sitting next to the likes of Anna Wintour at the fashion shows and whose photo-camera keeps on tirelessly shooting the people who define the street fashion around the world...I, basically, love his work...There - I said it. Anyway, aside from my rhetoric prologue, I'd like to share with you Scott's finds for men - or, as I would say - the finds that would, perhaps, make a man very, very stylish... effortlessly stylish, in a non-gay way...

After a few tense nights of going through all the photos from the DC Fashion Week menswear collections' runaways, I narrowed it down to a few that stood out. I don't know about you, but it seems to me that a lot of those collections are inspired by very urban African-American culture. When the first models came out on the runaway, I knew the collection might have been from a Washington, DC based designer, who is African-American...It was just very prominent, very obvious, and to some degree - [stereotypical and typical] - of an African-American culture: very splashy, gaudy, rich, cheerful, colorful...and a bit of gangster and gigolo.
