Recently I gave my girlfriend this necklace  as a present. I became obsessed with this big pearl necklaces when I saw it in the CHANEL Spring 2014 collection. Now I'm thinking of getting one myself, which I might out of luck to do as it is no longer available online !

The new addition to my bag collection - a leather tote bag from an Argentinian brand, NAIMA . Let's just say, it is as gorgeous as it looks and it is as roomy as it looks!

For those who know me very well, know that I'm a big fan of the accessories, especially the ones with a twist. I also love to wear more than one ring on a finger. I like them big, I like them in a batch. I like them on a pinky finger and I like them on a thumb. And I especially like wearing a bulky (or a few) ring on my index finger. I've been always attracted to the unique ways and looks of clothes, shoes and accessories. One of my favorite things to do is to browse through street jewelry stands in Soho, as well as visiting some  local boutiques and street fairs in other countries when I travel. It's a rare occasion when I do not come back with some new jewelry finds. Last December I brought some very interesting pieces from Germany and Argentina and I'm looking forward to find some more on my next trip to Europe next month. This said, one of my ongoing favorite way to wear the rings is by both bulking them up - two-four at a time - on one finger and 'dre...

Just accept it - the denim look will never ever go away . Your parents wore it, you wear it, your kids will wear it and your grandchildren will wear it too - [hence, never throw the denims out, because, guess what? the denim fashion is like a life circle, it goes around and it always comes around.] Jeans/denim is so much a part of our lives that there's no way we'd ever give it up. So, taken that denim is the classic, timeless trend - [just as Chanel will always be] - here's a few of my favorites among the new denims for the Spring, Summer and Fall/2013.

I took this picture at the Designers & Books Fair 2012 last month. It was a two-day event, during which the visitors could meet top designers, fashion/design magazine editors and book publishers up close and personal. [I love the F.I.T. events and try not to miss it, if I can!] These two ladies were hanging out in the book fair pavilion. I still don't know if they were the presenters - designers, writers, etc . - or the visitors. Either way, they've caught my attention, and, most likely, I wasn't the only one who has noticed them.

It's very hard to concentrate on any other activities in the city, when the Fashion Week takes place in NYC.

Not in a million years I would have considered buying myself anything in pink color, not even lingerie. 

I totally dig the whole outfit, including the accessories on this girl: from high platform wedges and dark jeans to the motorbike leather jacket, big watch and the over-sized headphones that I seem to see more and more often in New York these days.  Personally, I prefer the small headphones, but I've longed to have the over-sized ones for some time now. I hear they can serve as ear mufflers during the winter and have a pretty good sound for those who want to both tune out the street noise and feel like they are in a club, alone . I was thinking, actually, of using them for jogging... What do you think about the over-sized headphones, are they still 'IN' or are they 'OUT'?

... and it slowly turns into an evening gown . I wish we could all say that about our Friday outfits at work! Fridays in America are usually the casual days sans the sneakers and sweats, of course. On Fridays the office workers are usually allowed to wear jeans and casual shirts, just as long as it's still within the 'office attire rules' acceptance. But here is a thing, while most of us - especially the people who work in the corporate America - long for Fridays to wear the casuals, it's a double-end sword, because usually on Fridays one goes out right after work.  So, how can you stay casual and dressed up enough to hit all those fabulous lounges, parties, events?

Where did the craze about the skulls has come from? I keep trying to find that one person - [ A designer? An 'It-Girl'? A fashionista? A socialite? ] - who started it all... Do you know?

Like the nature itself, we like it when the Spring comes and everything blooms and blossoms. Just like the orchard trees in DC, bluebonnet in Texas and tulips in Russia - we need to see pinks, reds, yellows, blues in the Spring so that the thought of white and/or gray winter quickly dissolves in the array of colors...  Spring colors in transition from very dark black/browns to lighter and brighter on the runaway, Spring/Summer 2012 Spring boots in transition from black/browns to more color for Spring/Summer 2012 Personally, I'm ready to take those black coats, scarves, gloves and hats off and embrace the color of Spring!
