In New York City alone just recently closed two oldest book stores that used to be so beloved in their neighborhoods and among the new yorkers. Why is that, you think? Speaking of vacation. When I leave NYC I pack my Victoria Secret weekend bag (was a gift, haven't seen it sold anywhere) with following: sandals / MIA Livi , sneakers / Donald J Pliner  (you never know, last time in Montauk , NY it rained one day and they saved the day!), Sunscreen (I use at least 30-45 SPF for body on the beach and 70SPF for face) / Neutrogena Face & Body , Fedora / Uniqlo, and some fun play cards and accessories (the more fun they are the better)

You might have been surprised that I haven't been updating my blog as often as I did, say, a month ago? And this is why!

Even though the winter holidays are over, it doesn't mean that they have left you without the gifts that keep on giving...

Shakespeare and Company is one of my favorite hidden treasures in Paris. It's hidden in the Latin Quarter of Paris. It's a true paradise for a true book lover, or as I call that person - a book worm...

What more could a coffee table want? No, I mean - what else would you want to have on your coffee table if not the books that are so pleasant on an eye that it's even shameful not to have them there in the first place...These are the geniuses and muses of OUR time, that's why I'm not even going to argue over the fact that it is rather prestigious - and [a bit pretentious, in a way] - to display the books of Dali and a world history in pictures books as your coffee table books. Yes, we all know that you read them, yes , we know that you are smart and intelligent and have a good taste, but there is more to the coffee table books than Paris, Da Vinci, Audrey Hepburn, Merilyn Monroe, Grace Kelly and America's landscapes books. I mean it! So, now that I'm done bitching and - possibly alienating my friends - I'd like to talk about what's HOT in the 'coffee table book' arena right now!
